What's KF vacuum flange?

KF flange, also known as Kleinflansche, means "small flange" and is a type of quick-connect flange commonly used medium and low vacuum systems. The design of this flange system is intended to facilitate rapid assembly and disassembly, making it ideal for laboratory and industrial environments where configurations are frequently changed or cleaning is required.

Design and Structure

The KF flange system is simple in design and relatively inexpensive, making it highly practical in many scientific and industrial fields especially in situations where maintenance and cost are critical. KF flanges are primarily used to connect pipes and equipment in vacuum systems and low-pressure piping systems, and commonly found in high-tech fields such as semiconductors, electronics, optics, and chemistry.It consists of the following components: two symmetrically distributed KF flanges, O-Rings, centering rings, and clamps. No additional tools are required to loosen or compress the coupling by simply turning the disc nut by hand.

Size and Application Range

KF vacuum flange head is a small size quick flange joint. Nominal diameter sizes include DN 10, 16, 25, 40, and 50.
